What is the difference between Pressure Sensitive and Solvent Free Amtico Flooring?

I am looking to install Amtico flooring in a 3 X 4m area (childrens playroom) and cannot choose between the pressure sensitive adhesive or the solvent free. Is there an obvious difference between the two (other than how they are applied.) Is one better than the other in terms of strength or ease of use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The two adhesives do basically the same job and are both applied with a notched trowel, but there are differences as how you use the adhesive.

The solvent free adhesive is applied ‘as you need it’, you would fix a number of tiles that can be installed during the adhesives open time app ( 20 mins),where as the pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to the whole floor area and then allowed to ‘go off’ to a dry tack before installing the whole floor.

Please bear in mind that once you have spread the pressure sensitive adhesive on your floor you need to fit the floor in one go as it’s not advisable to leave the adhesive on the floor without floorcovering laid over night. I would recommend the solvent free adhesive for this reason if you are going to lay the floor yourself.
